[Wine] Mouse movement only in some directions

Hi,

my mouse doesn't work correctly in many games (not all).
I'm using Ubuntu 10.10 and the wine1.3 (from the launchpad package).
This concerns Need for Speed 2, Star Trek Bridge Commander and some others.
In Star Trek Bridge Commander the mouse doesn't seem to have a right x-axis and I'm not able to click on anything. Using the Keyboard to move the cursor won't do as well.
In Drakan Order of the Flame the game freezes when I want to change any settings (keyboard and mouse). I don't think that this is because of the game, since it worked for some people some time ago...

I'd be glad for any suggestions.
