Wine 1.3.x are DEVELOPMENT versions, not betas.  Wine 1.2.3 is code 
frozen and known to work with certain programs at that point.

Applications Database entry for this program and the program is rated 
platinum, which means no problems were encountered with it on the test 
platform, which includes Ubuntu 10.10.

You might want to look at the Application Database page and see if your 
problem has been encountered and if there is a work around.

You might also consider downgrading to Wine-1.3.18 if you can.
