And why, exactly, did you install all that crap?

Delete the wineprefix, because you've thorougly messed it up for no reason. The howto in the AppDB states clearly that no winetricks are needed to install Office 2007, and the Windows version MUST be set to XP.  

Reinstall to a clean wineprefix following the instructions in the AppDB. http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=4992
