[Wine] Scrambled widgets

I may have posted this Q before, but I don't remember. At any rate, the
problem still exists. Using PCLOS, KDE desktop, two different kernels
(2.6 and 3.8) both show same problem.
Under certain conditions--the one I can 100% repeat is Wine (Microsoft)
Pinball--when I shut it down, by any means (escape key is
straight-forward) the desktop will come back up with
the widgets scattered all over the place, most of them moved towards the
top left of the display. This happens in spite of the fact that the
widgets were locked beforehand. The folks
on the PCLOS Forum suggested I ask here to see if anyone here has found
a solution. Someone on the Forum mentioned that Wine--or
Pinball--changes the resolution of the screen
and doesn't put it back when thru. I am completely unfamiliar with
graphical programming, so I have no idea what to do to fix it. (One
solution that would be adequate would be a copy
of the Windows routine. Desktop Restore, by JOConnell. The way that
works: When you right-click on a clear area of the screen, the drop-down
box includes two options: Save Desktop
and Restore Desktop. ) I will appreciate any inputs from this end.
