I do believe it's the same issue that limits 360 degs movement in very many games like Mass Effect 1,2 and 3. Mouse "escapes" window or is confined to an area in the full screen program http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=6971 This is still present on the latest wine builds on Mac Osx
