Look if you have correct Winetricks settings they usually located in your prefix (in registry files, and in 'System32' you have all necessary dlls, and in 'User/App Settings' and elsewhere).

So if they gone/disappeared is that means you didn't saved you prefix? Did you reinstall your game after reinstalling of Wine?

I just cannot believe that It could be regression...
