[Wine] Error running an app on a Mac

I promise I'll improve fast.  ;-)

XQuartz installed.  Restarted.  Re-ran and got:

$ wine setup.exe
Dynamic session lookup supported but failed: launchd did not provide a
socket path, verify that org.freedesktop.dbus-session.plist is loaded!
err:process:__wine_kernel_init boot event wait timed out

and then it just hung there...

Just a bit more help please...
