I tested my things in previews post.

If, after processing the message to purge message queue (by PeekMessage) -
leading to incorrect behavior of the menu:
After the displaced cursor to the next should be 2-clicking to close the menu.

with first variant - All is OK.

I think attached patch resolve the bug.
