BTW Stefan, I didn't get feedback from you on whether match_ati_r300_to_500()
should use a GL_VENDOR or a HW_VENDOR match so I let it default to GL_VENDOR. I
did refactor guess_card() according to your recommendation in comment #39. I'm
hoping that this patch is close enough that you can fix up
match_ati_r300_to_500() and any other minor tweaks that might still need be
necessary and promote it for testing.

Don't forget that with ATI removing R300->R500 support from fglrx, you've got a
whole bunch of users who are going to be forced to migrate to the Mesa ATI R300
driver. If this support isn't available, then the next time they upgrade to a
new O/S release, DirectX support in Wine will stop working for them. Feature
close-off for Ubuntu Lucid Linux is Feb 18, not sure about Redhat and other
distributions.
