Two problems between Wine and iTunes 10.

running ubuntu 10.04 and wine 1.2

opening iTunes gives error that the "ipod service" had a critical failure. 

Trying to uninstall itunes from Wine appears to have gone through the
installation process. I was able to remove it using the instructions under
section 5.2 of this link (this was my first attempt at using Wine):
