That's great that the problem has been fixed.  It's always best to
keep up with the latest version of wine, whether you download the
release or from cvs.

That is true and it's good that you did send the information about the
warnings.  Whether the information you send is a part of the problem
or not, it gives others the bigger picture of the problem.
