We have AutoCAD installations at my office, running under Windows 2000
and Windows XP Pro. AutoCAD requires that it be run as Administrator.
Not just for installation, but also for use. (IIRC, it also has to be
the Administrator account, not some other account with the same rights.)
Plays hell with maintaining security on the student AutoCAD workstations!

I have no idea if any registry tweaks would help. The Windows security
model is obscure and arcane!
