Ok I reconfigured xorg and then I tried neverball again, and now I get
a different error. I looked it up on the net and got some commands
for testing glx. Now I get this output.
oldcomputer at ubuntu:~$ neverball
Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0".
Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0".
neverball: Couldn't find matching GLX visual
oldcomputer at ubuntu:~$ planetpenguineracer
bash: planetpenguineracer: command not found
oldcomputer at ubuntu:~$ penguinracer
bash: penguinracer: command not found
oldcomputer at ubuntu:~$ sudo -s

Sorry, try again.
Password:
root at ubuntu:~# glxinfo | grep rendering
Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0".
Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0".
Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0".
Error: couldn't find RGB GLX visual
Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0".
Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0".
root at ubuntu:~# cat /etc/X11/XF86Config | grep glx
cat: /etc/X11/XF86Config: No such file or directory
root at ubuntu:~# cat /etc/X11/xorg.conf | grep glx
Load "glx"
root at ubuntu:~#
Unfortunately, I don't know how to interpret the output or what to do
about it, but according to some of the websites it has to do with
nvidia drivers.
