[Wine] SafeDisc copy protection

Hello all.

I am trying to run a legitimate copy of an MSWin game under wine. The game is NHL 2002 and according to this site (http://www.daemon-tools.cc/gamedb.php?letter=N), it comes with SafeDisc version 2.40. I tried to search around a little more and I have no reason to doubt this.
I found out, that since wine version 0.9.something only SafeDisc version 1 is supported. I found this page (http://wiki.winehq.org/SafeDisc) at winehq, but I cannot tell from the linked bugs, if version 2 should already be supported or not. I have wine version 1.1.10 and it appears to be not working. Is this correct?
