Programs do create their own registry entries when they are installed.
If this, or any other program you moved over, runs in stand-alone
without creating registry entries on installation, you can copy from a
running Windows installation to Wine. However, and this is a BIG
however, this may not work and may even break a running Wine
installation (that is corruption of the user Wine area, not the program
executables.) It is always recommended that programs be installed in
their own Wine bottle and that is explained on the WineHQ under the use
of prefixes.

You answered all of my questions. I'm in the process of attempting to
build, on my own computer, Wine 1.1.13. This will not be a
redistributable package until I can get it to run without erroring
(Mike's 1.1.9 package does on both of my Leopard systems and the only
Tiger system is a PowerPC which his and my builds will not run on.)

Please be patient as there are not many Mac Wine users here, but they
are growing in number. Also, please create an entry in Bugzilla and
please rate this program as Garbage with MacOSX in the Applications
Database. It does not run at the present time and I don't want to
discourage folks, but I do want the truth to be told.
