You need "walk thread", not "walk process".

Could you please run the app in winedbg, but like so
WINELOADER=/path/to/wine/wine-pthread winedbg foo.exe
Change it to wine-kthread if that's what is normally run (ie you're on a
non-nptl system). We have some debugger breakage that provides backtraces with
no symbols.

Hi,
#define E_FAIL _HRESULT_TYPEDEF_(0x80004005L)
Not very useful.
Could you a) try with latest Wine and b) attach a +ole trace? Thanks.

I removed my fake_windows, did a winesetup (SUSE rpm), installed and run the

I think this depends entirely on what dll overrides you use. It works fine for
me using the following:
[AppDefaults\\iexplore.exe\\DllOverrides]
"mshtml" = "native, builtin"
"shfolder" = "native, builtin"
"shell32" = "native, builtin"
"shell" = "native, builtin"
"shdocvw" = "native, builtin"
"shlwapi" = "native, builtin"
"urlmon" = "native, builtin"
"crypt32" = "native, builtin"
"wininet" = "native, builtin"
I suspect if SSL doesn't work crypt32 or wininet are set to builtin. These DLLs
are mostly stubs in Wine - is this a bug we should bother keeping in bugzilla?
Personally I think not, so I'll close it as LATER.

StarCraft installer required me to switch off exec-shield, other than that the
game works perfectly as of a few days ago. Confirming fixed.

Could you please attach a C test case which shows this bug? That way it's a lot
easier to fix.
thanks -mike
