Seems similar to indiana jones emperors tomb face error
Put vertex shaders as 0 could fix or not?

With the shell32 DDE patches from 6778023..35d2036 this should now be fully
implemented. Please retest.

Sometimes application suddenly quits and this message is displayed.
x11drv: Can't store handle for display fd
This happens after showing a splash screen so there is probably another
application started and whatever shows the splash screen does not check that it
started properly.

Screenshot of a game run in a patched version
Yeah, with a solution suggested in comment 147 it finally runs, but it has some
major graphical issues (see attached screenshot) with rendering characters with
Ultimate Collection 2009 version from Origin.

I can no more install gstreamer1.0-plugins-bad:i386 on Ubuntu 17.10.
--> Tom Raider VI does no more play FMV and if I install quartz it crashed.
Is there a workaround?

Bug #: 30976
Summary: Navyfield crashes after splash screen
Product: Wine
Version: 1.5.6
Platform: x86
URL: http://www.navyfield.com/Download/Game/Main.aspx
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Keywords: download, regression
Severity: minor
Priority: P2
Component: winegstreamer
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: austinenglish(a)gmail.com
CC: paulthetall(a)gmail.com
Depends on: 27109, 30733, 30975
Classification: Unclassified
Install the demo from http://www.navyfield.com/Download/Game/Main.aspx
austin@aw25 ~ $ sha1sum NF1343.exe
1c7b6bd0903e3876d31556b13f199b771117d9c2 NF1343.exe
austin@aw25 ~ $ du -h NF1343.exe
623M NF1343.exe
run `winetricks vcrun6` (bug 27109). Install as normal, all defaults. Run the
game, and ignore the messed up launcher graphics (bug 30975). Click the bottom
right gray button to get in game. A splash screen will show, and shortly after,
crash.
With native quartz, it gets slightly further (potentially bug 16733, but it's
hard to tell). If you add in native devenum, then you can get to the point
where it wants to download a patch.
So, winegstreamer is lacking here. I'll attach its output.

-#define WINED3D_MAX_VS_CONSTS_F 256
+#define WINED3D_MAX_VS_CONSTS_F 1024
game starts up fine after that using wine-2.22
(the demo as well)

Bug ID: 37070
Summary: Missing polygons on 3D objects in Revenant
(ddraw:d3d_device7_GetClipStatus iface, clip_status
stub)
Product: Wine
Version: 1.7.23
Hardware: x86-64
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
Assignee: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
Reporter: o.dierick(a)piezo-forte.be
The isometric view is composed partly of 2D artwork and 3D animated objects and
characters. Most of the 3D objects are partially drawn to the point of becoming
invisible after a while.
Logfile is filled with :
fixme:ddraw:d3d_device7_GetClipStatus iface 0x13c940, clip_status 0x33e6e8
stub!
and also a few Depth/Stencil fixmes.
Note:
- "Disable texture blitting" must be checked in the advanced options of the
launcher, or the UI will be missing parts.
- "Enable Real Time Light" must be unchecked in the in-game options menu, or no
element other than the background and the UI will be drawn.
- Some part of the player character can be seen when he moves.
The demo specified in the download link also has this bug.
