I have downloaded the latest from CVS (20050310), compiled, (fine without error, nice job guys!) applied patch to ./dlls/msvcrt/file.c, recompiled. Then it shuts up the error messages that I was getting from mingw cross-compiled programs (from libg2c endfile.c). Thus the fix works at least as far as getting rid of the crashes on mingw executables.
