Folks,
I'm going to delete this thread from the archive very quickly.
However, phone numbers to use if you're here and you're
lost and/or looking to make a connection should be
(in priority order):
CodeWeavers main number 651-523-9300 (hit 0)
Mandi's Cell phone number: 651-503-7787
My Cell phone number: 651-503-7877
If you'll have a mobile, and want to supply that number
to other folks, feel free to post it here; later this
afternoon I'll erase the whole thread from the archives.
Cheers,
Jeremy
Hey folks,
I've gone ahead and rented an empty room for the weekend -
room 170, so we now have two rooms for the conference.
I think we're going to try to stick with 155 for the
main presentations, though (because it'll have cat5),
and use 170 as overflow.
So, everyone that's getting in on Friday is welcome
to come to our office and hang out. You can help
us set up for the conference, and/or you can set up
shop in room 170 for a bit. That way, folks that
are interested in socializing Friday night can meet
over here and go from there.
Cheers,
Jeremy
Dimi, Boaz, Shachar. The next person gets to ride in
the trunk.

OK, here is my info.
I'm arriving from Toronto, Ontario on Friday, Jan 30,
at 15:17, with AirCanada AC547.
I'm staying at the Western, we should batch
together for a ride to the hotel.

Dimi.
As discussed on #WineConf, here are my arrival times : on Thursday 29 at
18h45 with flight AF8910.
Lionel (available for beers late on Thursday evening :-) )
Arriving on AA1109 16:16 on 2004-01-30 (Friday) from O'Hare.
Was planning to take a cab to the best western, if anyone wants to join
in drop me a mail or if there will be a codeweaver pickup around that
time I would gladly join in with that.
Cheers
Arthur
Hi All,
I'm going to collect information to help people meet up at the airport,
and post it here:
http://www.winehq.org/wineconf/sched.html
Let me know when you're arriving if you haven't told Mandi already.
Mike
Hi folks,
Now that it's the last minute, we're finally starting
to move on Wineconf <grin>.
So, a few things. First, if you have registered, and
you *cannot* make it, please let me know asap. We're
trying to get accurate head counts for dinner reservations
and donut buys and such.
Second, we're starting to think about transportation
and other issues.
Mandi Gagne, our CNG (Chief Non Geek), has agreed to
serve as the transportation czar. She's going to help
coordinate everyones transportation.
Now, if you've already figured out how to get yourself
from the airport to wherever you're staying, great.
If you'd like a bit of help, though, we're prepared
to swarm the airport with friendly CodeWeavers
chauffeurs.
Here's the plan: if you need a ride from the airport,
please email Mandi directly (mandi at codeweavers dot com).
She'll coordinate things for you and give you her cell
as a backup.
If you are renting a car and would be willing to *give*
rides, please also email Mandi.
Next, fyi, we're chatting a fair amount in #wineconf, and
I think we'll keep that open through the conference.
Finally, I think we're going to plan an informal
get together for dinner + libation on Friday night.
I don't know where, or when, or any of that stuff
(and I may not be able to join in for long myself).
Do any of the locals on the list have any suggestions?
If all else fails, I would think that meeting at Jillians
at the Mall or somesuch would be good fun.
Cheers,
Jeremy
Hi all,
I'll be bringing a burrowed laptop to wineconf, and the agreement is
that I don't put stuff on the HD. With a LiveCD, that's not a big
problem to use the computer, but to do something useful during wineconf
(build Wine, hack/use it, etc.), I'll need either some access to my box
here over the Internet, or I can bring a 9GB SCSI HD to put in a local
box over there, if there's a computer to which it can be hooked up.
Which one is the preferred way for you guys?
Also, I recall something about "wireless preferred" for the LAN, but
that laptop doesn't have any 802.11 gear, only 10/100 Ethernet. Will
that be available onsite?
Thanks and see you on Friday night/Saturday morning,
Vincent
