Patch sent here: http://source.winehq.org/patches/data/61592 (not commited yet
to git, still pending)

I tested it with a low ulimit -n setting and notepad, and the error message was
triggered. It would be interesting if someone tested it with the games that had
problems with this limit (using the default ulimit seting), so we can see if
the error is generated.
