[Bug 11290] Can't join chat room in paltalk

No change since when I first filed the bug.  Well, logging in works a
bit nicer, and you actually see something on the screen when you
hear the chim, but it's still sluggish and can't see or create rooms.

If you do try clicking on 'create room', it usually crashes, e.g.

It also crashes on exit.

'winetricks ie7' makes the app look a bit better, but doesn't affect these
problems.
'winetricks comctl32' doesn't seem to help.
