Hello folks,

can't confirm this.

FYI 'Crysis 2' uses 'SolidShield v2' DRM scheme which works fine with Wine
1.7.9

Installation from original DVD (v1.0), media validation and online activation
went fine.
Started some mission/campaign, no visible artifacts (NVIDIA gfx) -> excellent.

This is without any winetricks recipe (= no overrides).

This is harmless - just confirm with 'ok' - and already covered by existing
bugs (dxdiag missing properties).

For the guys with Steam: don't install the game in existing Steam WINEPREFIX
with multiple games already installed -> bug likely invalid.
Many game require different prerequisites and you will mess your prefix up at
some point.

$ wine --version
wine-1.7.9-342-gc638552

Please retest with _recent_ Wine version and make sure you're doing a 'clean'
install!
