Hi Janhouse,

I am experiencing exactly the same problems under an amd64 ubuntu 12.04 (with
lightroom 5.0)
They make lightroom unusable.

I also have one x86 laptop under Archlinux and it works perfectly.

I haven't yet found the reason why but it is quite mysterious...
