Hello folks,

I can't reproduce the login crash with an up-to-date client, the game works
fine for me.

After login, the authentication scheme told me to create a second (4-digit)
password.

I created a new character and joined some server.

It doesn't hang. Just look at the messages. It tells you the client is out of
date hence you need the launcher to update it before.

Atlantica is down for maintainence or that I'm having network problems/etc.

See bug 36830 for the glory details ... stupid code that relies on Windows
internal behaviour/impl (can be worked around with 'winetricks -q wininet').

They probably never noticed this because it just "worked".
