Hack

The slowdown with motion blur is likely to be the same issue as bug 27879, I
remember that the RGBA16-enabling patch was specifically added for Mass Effect
2 (bug 22548). Also I just recalled bug 30256 which is again around the same
basic limitation, where you mention that Nouveau didn't suffer from the bug (I
had the feeling you already tested it).

Does the attached (untested) patch workaround the issue? It's an updated
version of attachment 38991 from bug 27879.
