--- Comment #55 from Jerry <accounts at jerryscomputing.com> ---
I would like to compare the two patches as to how they work in practice.
The one for FFmpeg 3 and FFmpeg 4, also as I have tried before, but I don't
think I can use the "ignore FFmpeg errors" patch while using the FFmpeg 3
patch.
I've built FFmpeg 4, is there a way to make wine use a local FFmpeg 4 when
FFmpeg 3 is installed globally?
Furthermore, while I know that the next version of Ubuntu will have FFmpeg 4, I
would like to stick with my current version, as its an LTS version. I would
personally prefer to avoid upgrading the whole system, so I can make use of
this one patch, for the one game.
I've tried the "LD_LIBRARY_PATH" and pointing it to the build of ffmpeg4
if I do the "sudo make install" by default it wants to install in /usr/local,
would wine find it there or how should I approach this?
