It was actually initially noticed after updating to 5.0 RC2. RC3 had came out
so I upgraded to that. It was working in 4.21.

Regression is NOT fixing anything. Fixing the bug would be whichever dev broke
the ability for WINE to detect a disc drive going back and figuring out what
they changed in the relevant code that broke WINE from 5.0 on, or maybe someone
who doesn't break functions that have largely been plug and play since the late
1980's, and were working in WINE practically for the project's entire
existence.
