But do we know whether that's even the case?

Because if it is about hooking some magic in hardware drivers, that's all
well-said and legit. 

If instead it was "just" about reading some MSR or the memory directly (which
is how I believe AGESA is found), again I don't know why sudo wine cpuz.exe
should not be something supported.
