What is d3d? Is that directdrawrenderer? drr=gdi?

I think yes it works in the latest version of wine but the issue is that it is
still laggy. It used to pop open instantly as it does on windows and mac. I'm
just doing a build from git head which includes a couple of other fixes and
will test again.
