How should people know that the problem here has been fixed with a Wine release
when the root cause hasn't been even identified? Although there is a crash
happening according to your logs it could be *anything*. There is simply not
enough information present.

It requires a deeper analysis, i.e. tracing and debugging of the app which
didn't happen here. There are people who could do that but they have priorities
as well. There are thousands of open bugs and no bug is "most important".

When the root cause has been identified and can be traced to a specific
patch/commit mentioning the app name or bug id then there might be a chance
that other users/developers update the status of a ticket as part of Wine
releases.

Besides that, you are the creator of the bug report hence it's your obligation
to test if the problem has been fixed with a Wine release and update the
status.
