It's already gone. The reason old stuff still works on RH 7.1 is that
we're actually shipping both 1.4.2 and 2.0.1 in the same package.
1.4.2 and 2.0.1 have very little in common except for providing the same
functionality.

2.x definitely. They didn't redesign the API for no reason.
