Yeah. In order to implement unlimited undo you need to operate in terms of
transactions.

Blah, appdefaults are kind of a mess. I had it working but you had to set
the app on one tab then alter settings on another which wasn't great UI.
Someone else submitted a patch which started moving appdefaults into each
relevant tab separately. I guess we haven't removed the old one first. I'm
still not convinced about the ui for this yet....
