says LockWindowUpdate can't be implemented for real until the update
region handing
is moved to the server, which is related to

and indeed, if you look at Alexandre's to-do list, you see
  Fix LockWindowUpdate.
listed right there.

So- is this something Alexandre hopes to fix for 1.0, or is it for later?
