GDI-Printer under WINE ?

Hi,

  I plan to buy the new QMS Magicolor 2200 Desklaser. Nice color laser
for low price BUT I just read by accident that the machine is a
GDI-Printer and requires Windows in any version :-((((
Now: Minolta has a cooperation with German SuSE to support their
machines on Linux. Unfortunatey not the 2200.
Is there any possibility to run the GDI-drivers under WINE? I checked
already at the winehq and most Linux-distributors but without success.
