[Wine]font problem: seems to be misconfigured

Hello,

I found fonts are really weird when running firefox 1.1 alpha : all text
is printed in italics and special characters are displayed as greek
characters; spaces are missing; you can see a screenshot at 
http://home.planet.nl/~huize784/wine-firefox.png

what should I do? I'm thinking something with fonts is misconfigured,
but I wouldn't know what
I'm seeing this with and without config file;
