It just came in handy to do something that I couldn't get done otherwise - run Nortel Java VPN client. Since my system is 64-bit I have 64-bit Firefox and Java. And guess what? That Nortel client just refused to work.

But on windows Firefox and Java running on Wine everything installed and ran exactly the same way it does on windows.
