I redid the make install, and it's working now, however, the two apps I've tried both failed to work after installation. One game has sound but no video, and the other reported some kind of "MCI" error. I don't know if possibly the errors resulted from not simply starting over from scratch?


Wine is a constant work in progress.. it cannot run everything.  best to check the appdb and find out if anyone else has gotten the specific app to work, and how they did it... often things dont work just by default.
