Well, every linux distribution has its own problems. I'm using Ubuntu myself because I like it the most, even if the wine packaging is quite bad (I'm using git on this computer, so it doesn't affect me here) and if things only start working 2 weeks after a major release. If I wanted stability I would have gone for Debian for example.
