[Wine] ati mobility X1400 being recognized as a geforce 3 card

Hmmm.  That may be why your card is mis-identified.  Can you try the
Catalyst driver anyway.  I have an X1600 in my MacBookPro and I would
not consider this card 'legacy'.

No.  Wine does not support Windows video drivers.
