This is what comes up when I open /etc/fstab:
Code:
# /etc/fstab: static file system information.
#
# Use 'blkid -o value -s UUID' to print the universally unique identifier
# for a device; this may be used with UUID= as a more robust way to name
# devices that works even if disks are added and removed. See fstab(5).
#
# <file system> <mount point> <type> <options> <dump> <pass>
proc /proc proc nodev,noexec,nosuid 0 0
# / was on /dev/sda5 during installation
UUID=a28953de-0bc8-46dc-9a77-4bb9f5f7ce4f / ext4 defaults 0 1
# swap was on /dev/sda6 during installation
UUID=cf9a5b65-ed91-4255-a34a-b78e13641239 none swap sw 0 0
Here is what I get using mount:
Code:
k at Linux:~$ mount
/dev/sda5 on / type ext4 (rw,commit=0)
proc on /proc type proc (rw,noexec, nosuid, nodev)
none on /sys type sysfs (rw,noexec, nosuid, nodev)
fusectl on /sys/fs/fuse/connections type fusectl (rw)
none on /sys/kernel/debug type debugfs (rw)
none on /sys/kernel/security type securityfs (rw)
none on /dev type devtmpfs (rw,mode=0755)
none on /dev/pts type devpts (rw,noexec,nosuid,gid=5,mode=0620)
none on /dev/shm type tmpfs (rw,nosuid, nodev)
none on /var/run type tmpfs (rw,nosuid,mode=0755)
none on /var/lock type tmpfs (rw,noexec, nosuid, nodev)
binfmt_misc on /proc/sys/fs/binfmt_misc type binfmt_misc (rw,noexec,nosuid,nodev)
gvfs-fuse-daemon on /home/klasicgrl/.gvfs type fuse.gvfs-fuse-daemon (rw,nosuid,nodev,user=klasicgrl)
/dev/sda1 on /media/F8506B17506ADBBE type fuseblk (rw,nosuid,nodev,allow_other,blksize=4096,default_permissions)
/dev/sda2 on /media/3A4C8CB44C8C6D07 type fuseblk (rw,nosuid,nodev,allow_other,blksize=4096,default_permissions)
/dev/sr0 on /media/SUCKER_PUNCH type udf (ro,nosuid,nodev,uhelper=udisks,uid=1000,gid=1000,iocharset=utf8,umask=0077,dmode=0500)
Why is
/dev/sr0 on /media/SUCKER_PUNCH type udf
showing up in mount, but not fstab?
And can I just add
/dev/sr0 /media/sr0 auto ro,noauto,user,exec 0 0
as a line in fstab?
Again, thanks for the help.
