I cannot either, but I distinctly remember reading this in the last few 
days.  Since I receive a couple of mailing lists, it may have been on 
the Fedora User list and I could not find an archive to search there.

The solution was to start an X session with 16 bpp depth and then use 
that to run Wine and the program in.
