[Wine] Pepakura 3.0.3a on OSX

Hello,

I'm new to Wine and I tried to run Pepakura Designer with it. 
I'm using osx 10.5.8 and I've installed Wine through macports as advised in the download instructions.

I downloaded Pepakura Designer 3.0.3a because it was the the most up to version with a decent rating, however I've run into the DIB Init Failed issue:

I've scanned through the previous thread (http://forum.winehq.org/viewtopic.php?t=10146&highlight=pepakura), but I don't think the 32-bit driver solution applies to my machine :(
Not only I'm running osx, I'm using an older Macbook with poor Intel GMA X3100 card.

The closes existing thread I found (http://forum.winehq.org/viewtopic.php?t=6268&highlight=pepakura) mentions OSX 10.6 and some Quartz issues, so not my case.

I was wondering if someone here managed to successfully run Pepakura on OSX 10.5. If so, how ?
