I'm using API Monitor.
http://www.rohitab.com/apimonitor
And all information in "Summary" field I always save as simple text file (using
copy - paste). When I see some info in Summary,I can select all columns("select
all" action from context menu, right click with mouse),and then "copy"
action, also from context menu. And after that,I paste that info into blank text
file. I always save text files with UTF-8,btw.

Yeah, I'm aware of renderdoc and apitrace, just curious what Igor used exacly,
as renderdoc doesn't have support for d3d9 and you can only view apitrace calls
through qapitrace, which in some instances isn't as convenient as looking
through a plain text file like the one Igor created.

--- Comment #178 from Stefan Dösinger <stefan(a)codeweavers.com> ---
There are tools like apitrace, renderdoc, PIX, and many others that can record
+d3d-like logs on Windows and often provide additional tools for debugging.
It's not black magic, but we're careful when using them on Windows as we might
see Microsoft implementation details, e.g. the d3d9.dll calls that d3dx9.dll
makes.

This isn't useful really, the feature this bug report references is already
implemented in staging, it just requires upstreaming.
I do wonder, how did you record this exactly? Because it might be useful with
other bug reports.

Bug #: 33000
Summary: Sim Theme Park fails to install/copy SafeDisc v1.x
driver to system32\drivers
Product: Wine
Version: 1.5.24
Platform: x86
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: focht(a)gmx.net
Classification: Unclassified
Hello folks,
a guy on IRC #winehq asked for help to get "Sim Theme Park" to work.
The game is copy-protected and the installer seems somehow fail to installer
the SafeDisc 1.x driver properly in system32/drivers folder.
Manually copying the driver after installation lets the game recognize the
original disc (for that SafeDisc 1.x has to be run in Win2K mode, see bug
12653) -> workaround.
The installer is Installshield based (year 2000).

It looks like the path passed to drvmgt.dll "Setup" API function (first
argument) needs to have a backslash appended.
Somewhere in installshield script this path is constructed, most likely at the
point of "SdSelectFolder" (Installshield folder selection).
To properly analyze this, the installshield script needs to be
decrypted/decompiled... low priority.

Yes, the bug has been fixed in wine-staging for several years, but the fix has
not been submitted upsteam yet, so it needs to remain open.

When in full screen Alt+Tab freezes the game.
In windowed mode the problem is the same, moreover it happens when moving the
window as well.
In general the game freezes when its window is out of focus.
