When running Caligari TrueSpace, regardless of using OpenGL or software only rendering, the Z order of the file menu is incorrect. I have attached a screenshot showing the issue. The image on the left is how the program should look, the image on the right shows the flaw. Download chromium from http://build.chromium.org/f/chromium/snapshots/Win/95816/chrome-win32.zip unpack chrome-win32.zip, cd to the directory. 2. start chrome.exe with --no-sandbox, works around Bug 21232 $ wine chrome.exe --no-sandbox Notice that the chrome window is decorated by the Linux native window manager. Is it a bug? On windows, chrome have no traditional "window bar". Now there is two "Maximal" button: one is drawn by Linux native window manager, the other is drawed by wine chrome browser it self. 3. Click on the "Maximal" button which is drawn by Linux native window manager, then chrome browser switch to maximal mode as expect. This time, the Linux native window bar is disappear. 4. Click on the "Restore" button of wine chrome browser. However it doesn't work. Wine chrome switch to normal mode for a second, then switch back to maximal mode automatically. I use ubuntu 11.04 , with traditional gnome desktop, gnome 2.32.1 . There is some ways to work around: I. Instead of clicking on the native "Maximal" button in step 3, try to click the wine chrome "Maximal" button, then everything works as expect. II. Do not set "Allow the window manager to decorate the windows" in winecfg, then everything works as expect. III. At startup, when the launcher of Grand Theft Auto V opens, it shows a "Loading" animation and wait for something that never seems to happen. There is a cancel button. If I click anywhere in the window before clicking the cancel button, or if I alt-tab out and in while the launcher is open, subprocess.exe crashes with an unhandled exception error. After subprocess.exe has crashed, I can click on the cancel button of the launcher and it closes, and wineserver terminates gracefully. If I click first on the cancel button before doing anything else, the launcher closes and there is no unhandled exception error, but wineserver doesn't quit until alt+F4 is pressed and the blocking process is forced to close. subprocess.exe is the executable of the Social Club service to which the user has to log in to play the game. Computer specs: Intel Core i7-4930k CPU @ 3.40Ghz x 12 (6+HT). 8Gb RAM. NVidia GTX970 with proprietary drivers (346.35). Debian Wheezy 64-bit Wine 1.7.41 WoW64 no winetricks, no dlloverrides. Wine is set to windows vista, virtual desktop, no window decoration and no window manager allowance. GTA V DVD version (not steam). DirectX and VC++ 2008 redistributables installed from DVD.
