[Wine] Problems with Sanitarium

Well, I found this *old* game in my closet the other night, and wondered if Wine could play it.The APPDB entry (http://appdb.winehq.org/appview.php?versionId=4089) has it on Gold status, and I was quite happy.

Install worked fine, but, once I started the game, I found some problems.
One problem, not just found in Sanitarium, but also in other games, is that when a Video Scene is playing, the (usually) white color in the video becomes black.This is probably a known problem.

Now, the real problem is, ALL characters (PC or NPC) become temporarily invisible when facing in a certain direction, in most of the game's areas.Now, whilst this has not crashed the game in any way, it's really annoying.Here's some info, and the output:

Wine 0.9.8, Nvidia 6200, Nvidia Drivers 1.0.8178, X.org 6.8.2, Ubuntu Breezy.
I don't think my specs are the problem.

Here's the output:

fixme:ddraw:Main_DirectDraw_SetCooperativeLevel (0x403dadb0)->(0x30022,00000051)
fixme:xrandr:X11DRV_XRandR_SetCurrentMode Cannot change screen BPP from 32 to 8
fixme:xrandr:X11DRV_XRandR_SetCurrentMode Cannot change screen BPP from 32 to 8
fixme:x11drv:X11DRV_DDHAL_CreatePalette stub
fixme:ddraw:DIB_DirectDrawSurface_Blt Can't handle DDBLT_WAIT flag right now.
fixme:ddraw:Main_DirectDraw_WaitForVerticalBlank (0x403dadb0)->(flags=0x00000 001,handle=(nil))
fixme:ddraw:Main_DirectDraw_WaitForVerticalBlank (0x403dadb0)->(flags=0x00000 001,handle=(nil))

...

fixme:ddraw:Main_DirectDraw_WaitForVerticalBlank (0x403dadb0)->(flags=0x00000 001,handle=(nil))
fixme:ddraw:Main_DirectDraw_WaitForVerticalBlank (0x403dadb0)->(flags=0x00000 001,handle=(nil))
fixme:winmm:MMDRV_Exit Closing while ll-driver open

To the untrained eye, this seems like a DX problem.But if it was, The original appdb poster would have problems.Or maybe not.

Anyways, any help would be thankful.If ypu've reached till down here, you must have a *lot* of patience. :)

Thanks.
