[Wine] No text in buttons on steam.

I've got Wine 0.9.17 running on Slackware 10.2 (xfs.s kernel) and I am
having trouble running the Steam setup. First, there is no text in the
buttons (I have Tahoma.ttf installed in /etc/fonts and
drive_c/windows/fonts) and then, after I find my way through, I try to
scroll to the bottom of the EULA and I can't check the box to agree,
and click the middle box (where 'next' should be).

Could I get some tips here? Thanks
