Jeffz is absolutely right about reporting all the bugs and running the regression test. I've found that regressions do get attention, and running the test really does help get them fixed faster.

This one is a known a bug in Word, http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=11415 . That report is for Word 2000, but I've found that it also affects Word 2003. The status of that bug is currently unconfirmed--adding your info to it and voting for it would at least help get it confirmed.
